Description:

Pack of 10 Organ® Leather Point sewing machine needles for PFAFF industrial sewing machines.

Needle System : 190LR, MTX190LR (Leather needle)

System 190LR is a reverse twist point needle generally used in Pfaff machines for sewing all types of leather, setting a slanting position stitch. It can be used in machines where a system 190R needle is used for sewing fabric. 

Leather needle has the shape like a wedge at the point which gives it superior piercing power for unyielding fabric such as real leather, suede or heavy vinyl. This needle makes a clean, large hole as it enters the fabric. It is better to tie or seal thread ends rather than backstitching to secure. Sew accurately since removing stitches and restitching will leave hole markings. Synthetic leathers and suedes can and should be sewn with standard needles.

190LR needles are identical to 190 (MTX190) regular point needles except for the leather point.

  • Singer Size 21 (Metric Size 130) for heavy to extra heavy fabrics.
  • Singer Size 22 (Metric Size 140) for heavy to extra heavy fabrics.
  • Singer Size 23 (Metric Size 160) for extra heavy fabrics.
  • Singer Size 24 (Metric Size 180) for extra heavy fabrics.
  • Singer Size 25 (Metric Size 200) Largest we carry for extra heavy fabrics.
