This water purifying filter for iron is designed to be used for a steaming iron only. Never use it as a purifier for drinking water. The lifespand of the product may be affected by the quality of water and the frequency of use so it is recommended to replace it with a new one on a regular basis (every three months is recommended) to maximize the intended effect.
